Market Pulse: Bitwise’s Solana ETF Hits $1 Billion AUM Just 10 Months After Launch

Across major exchanges, bitwise’s solana staking trading platform-traded fund (ETF) has crossed $1 billion in assets just 10 months after launch, making solana one of only three crypto assets with an ETF above that threshold.

The milestone comes as SOL rebounds sharply and major financial firms expand access to the token.

Bitwise’s solana staking ETF has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, a milestone that puts SOL alongside bitcoin and ether in the small group of cryptocurrencies with billion-dollar ETF products.

The fund, which trades under the ticker BSOL, reached the mark exactly 10 months after launch, according to Bitwise.

“The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF, BSOL, just crossed $1 billion AUM, exactly 10 months after its launch,” the asset manager said on X.

Bitwise noted that most of the roughly $1 billion in inflows arrived during a bear sector, suggesting investors continued building exposure despite a difficult first half for digital assets.

Solana ETFs now hold about $1.43 billion in assets, representing about 2.35% of SOL’s marketcap.

The market’s reaction to BSOL crossing $1 billion in assets under management was telling, with Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas pointing to roughly $1.7 billion in cumulative flows across the entire category, with little evidence of sustained withdrawals despite the earlier downturn.
